The beach, the Navy, seafood - soothed by the balmy Gulf Coast breezes, Pensacola is known as a vacation spot with cultural diversity and a wealth of civic and naval history. Less well-known are Pensacola's several festivals, notably the Seafood Festival and the Greater Gulfcoast Arts Festival.

Thousands of residents and visitors alike wander the downtown area enjoying local and regional performing and visual artists and shopping at the eclectic vendor tables, while sampling a variety of seafood.
